2025 has been a hurricane year for our beloved Ninja Gaiden franchise, and it’s explosive! From the first slice to the final showdown, everything kicked off with a bang early in the year when 'Ninja Gaiden 2 Black' hit modern consoles, packing enhanced visuals that make every shuriken sing. Die-hard fans rejoiced with 'Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound', an adrenaline-pumping 2D sidescroller crafted by the masterminds at The Game Kitchen. But the real knockout came with 'Ninja Gaiden 4', the sequel dream we’ve awaited since 'Ninja Gaiden 3'. If you’re ready to dive into this epic adventure, snag your copy for just $49.99 at Walmart!
This time, the magic comes courtesy of Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, setting the stage for a combat system that’s pure wildcard brilliance. New to the spotlight is Yakumo, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the legendary Ryu. With dual protagonists, your Tokyo adventure unfolds with fresh abilities battles that crank the excitement dial up to 11 as you combat an insidious threat.
Our pumped-up 8/10 review couldn’t contain the excitement: “Step aside, competitors! Ninja Gaiden 4's combat is in a league of its own. Maybe only 'Devil May Cry 5' stands near this juggernaut of fun. Sure, it has its downsides with a meh story, so-so levels, and bosses that are hit or miss, but try to stop us from diving back in. It’s the rawest action rush since 'Hi-Fi Rush', and if there’s a gaming universe out there, let’s not wait another 13 years for the next round!”
